not all fake flowers are cheesy. you can find good looking silk flowers and use them around the house during the winter months or for when you are in-between real arrangements. i have found some pretty cool stuff at the pottery barn. try to arrange the stems in modern arrangements. this will help the flowers look more real. using just a few colors is another trick to create realistic arrangements. i use silk in the dining and living room. but i always have real flowers when i am entertaining and at the side of my bed. and remember to dust your silk treasures! there is no bigger dead giveaway than dusty flowers.
